Senior Account Executive

 

Description:

  • Developing and nurturing client and prospect relationships to continue, or progress, Aon’s position as risk management advisor of choice.
  • Working in tandem with other Account Executives in the servicing of large accounts when appropriate.
  • Leading the strategy for account renewals and the ongoing requirements during the year, working with the various specialist broking teams in the marketing process.
  • Reviewing and revising insurance programs in conjunction with the client to ensure complete and appropriate coverage.
  • Managing the 120-day renewal process including preparing the renewal report, presenting to client for approval, obtaining the binding order and reviewing policy documentation and delivering to clients in a timely manner
  • Analyzing client and prospect contracts identifying potential risk issues that could be of concern with respect to indemnities and insurance requirements (i.e. anticipating underwriting issues).
  • Open claim review and managing the client’s expectations around claims handling
  • Analyzing the client’s needs around risk mitigation and deployment of risk control engineering when required.
  • Cross-selling and expanding the existing insurance programs with our clients; developing and managing client relationships in order to increase penetration sales and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Reviewing policy documents for accuracy and intent.

Business Results:

  • Producing new business and assisting in the development of sales and marketing strategies designed to cultivate revenue generation opportunities.
  • Developing comprehensive annual and quarterly new business sales and development plans for identified targeted prospects and existing clients based on being accountable for pre-agreed financial goals.
  • Developing new contacts and building relationships with prospects that align with the Region’s/Branch’s acknowledged targeted industry or segment groups.
  • Providing leadership necessary for development and delivery of insurance and industry related presentations/seminars prospects and clients as required.
  • Acting as the visible face of Aon to clients/prospects in the community, working to facilitate lead generation activities.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned to deliver business results and distinctive client value.
