Description:
As a Salesforce Consultant in Sun Life’s Salesforce.com Centre of Excellence team, you will utilize your knowledge of business objectives and processes, as well as your functional Salesforce expertise and passion for CRM and digital client engagement practices to act as an expert consultant for Salesforce.com, CRM and digital client engagement practices. Also, you’ll partner with business and technology areas to execute on business strategies and capitalise on business opportunities, by helping to define, build and deploy solutions involving salesforce.com.
What will you do?
Partner with architects and application designers to design new salesforce.com solutions, and re-engineer, improve or replace existing business or IT processes
Develop a strong understanding of business partner challenges, objectives, and other operational aspects of the business using applicable facilitation and analysis approaches, the assessment of alternative solutions and the balancing of risk the business area is willing to accept
Provide expert advice regarding the use of Salesforce.com to support business applications
Lead requirements gathering sessions, create Epics & User Stories based on requirements gathered
Propose solutions to business executives, product owners and collaborate with technical architects on solution design
Demonstrate solutions and build progress to business executives, product owners and other stakeholders during sprint reviews
Perform declarative configurations, lead clients through user acceptance testing and iterate based on feedback
What do you need to succeed?
Expert level functional understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Experience working on complex CRM or digital initiatives involving Salesforce.com
5 years of experience as a Business Systems Consultant or as a Functional Salesforce.com consultant
Ability to build prototypes and live mock-ups to aid with solutions definition and design experience defining salesforce solutions
Experience working with agile scrum methodology and with UX design professionals
Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce reporting and analytics capabilities
Active Salesforce Admin certification
Strong understanding of Salesforce adoption best practices and how to measure adoption
