Description:
The summer student will execute sales activities across a broad geographic region to a designated list of retail accounts, build retailer relationships, resolve complaints/issues, prospect for new business, install, repair, and perform routine maintenance to OLG owned assets (merchandise).
Note: Preference will be given to candidates who live within the territory.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Take inventory of all OLG owned assets (merchandise, terminal peripherals, etc.) and update appropriate inventory logs
- Review retailer insider lists with retailers and make necessary edits
- Replace, repair, clean and/or install new merchandise as required.
- Review inventory of on hand instant tickets and ensure retailer is displaying current product and returning expired games
- Handle store level inquiries and complaints to ensure swift resolution.
- Provide training to retailers on new processes, procedures, rules and regulations, sales promotions and contests, new product offerings to create awareness and ensure compliance to guidelines
- Run Ambassador Programs to engage and educate customers
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Working towards a university degree or college diploma in business administration, marketing, customer service or related field
- General knowledge of retail environment and customer service experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Office, GeoMapping, and CRM (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, negotiation skills, and inventory management
- Ability to travel frequently (sometimes overnight) within Ontario; ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Licenses, Registrations, Certificates: Must have a valid G or G2 Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driving record
