Sales Representative

Description:

Climatec, a leading provider of building technologies and energy solutions, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join their team in Vancouver, BC. This role focuses on establishing customer relationships, driving sales of HVAC, electronics, and building automation systems, and developing customized solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

📌 Identify and qualify sales prospects, follow up on leads, and schedule meetings.
📌 Develop a sales strategy based on customer needs and present tailored solutions.
📌 Maintain an active proposal backlog to meet sales targets.
📌 Develop accurate estimates and proposals, coordinating with subcontractors when required.
📌 Build relationships with consulting engineers, building owners, and contractors.
📌 Provide technical leadership and support for estimations, design, installation, and commissioning.
📌 Stay updated on local and national building codes affecting system configurations.
📌 Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
📌 Actively participate in industry organizations and networking opportunities.
📌 Prepare and maintain sales and expense reports in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or sales role related to HVAC, electronics, or building automation systems.
✔ Strong experience in customer interaction, solution presentation, and direct sales.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
✔ Bilingual (Spanish) preferred for Miami-based roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

⭐ Two-year technical degree in HVAC, Electronics, or a related field.
⭐ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Construction Management (Highly Preferred).
⭐ 7+ years of experience in HVAC, building systems, or automation solutions.
⭐ Familiarity with Alerton systems and implementation processes.
