Description:
Reporting to the Senior Technical Advisor and Business Development - Dredging, the role of the Sales Representative is to represent Eco Technologies by acting as an advisor to its customers from the mining, industrial, marine, and environmental sectors in order to elucidate their needs. The Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing the commercial potential of the company. He is responsible for the physical coverage of the territory assigned to Canada.
YOUR ROLE
At Eco Technologies, the Sales Representative is to achieve the following objectives:
- Promote the catalog of different products and services;
- Evaluate and highlight the potential of potential customers;
- Solicit sales from all potential customers;
- Respond to customer requests for information;
- Collect and transmit comments on the services sold by Eco Technologies in the markets and ensure their quality;
- Read and analyze tender notices;
- Write detailed proposals for projects;
- Write technical reports for clients;
- Maintain an up-to-date list of potential sales in order to target the benefits for the company over time;
- Prepare an action plan based on the coverage of its territory, sales activities, exhibitions and for all other activities relevant to the proper functioning of its territory;
- Analyze competition and needs in current and potential markets;
- Validate customer perception of the products offered by Eco Technologies;
- Participate in exhibitions;
- Ensure that customer files are detailed, complete and updated at all times;
- Maintain privileged business relationships with its customers.

- Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite software;
- Knowledge of the fundamental principles of health and safety in an industrial environment.
- Know the activities of dredging operations, water treatment and sludge management (an asset);
- Know the basics of chemistry of water treatment processes and optimization of operations (an asset);
- Knowledge of the use of Hypack and Dredgpack software and GPS systems (an asset).
