What the day will look like The role of Marketing Specialist, Personal Lines & Affinity is critical to the effective marketing and communications of all aspects of the National Personal Lines & Affinity business. Under the direction of the Managing Director, Personal Lines and Affinity, this position will be responsible for the following: Plan and implement marketing strategies for our cutting-edge innovation Recommend and suggest marketing plans and initiatives to drive sales and stimulate brand exposure Ability to build a yearly marketing calendar of events and activations Prepare proposal and RFP content on an as-needed basis. Prepare the sales and marketing reports for the weekly department head meeting. Plan and help manage budget for all existing and new opportunities Digital Marketing Create social media web and subscriber email content Ability to work with outside agencies and platforms including Google analytics, Salesforce and Survey Monkey Coordinate social media as well as email blasts, advertising, special marketing events and collateral to create comprehensive marketing campaigns Lead new digital marketing channels & partners including the identification of new partners/channels Clearly communicate goals and results of new digital marketing campaigns to leadership Develop and implement new marketing strategies and initiatives Develop & track new tests including ad copy, landing pages, images, devices, ad types, & more Manage & report on analytics from new initiatives and measure overall effectiveness of new media buys. Be responsible for continuous A/B test planning, execution, & analysis across new channels to improve overall results and scale. Sales Support Provide support to sales teams and help formulate innovative marketing strategies Present marketing concepts to the team Responsible for marketing for our Business Development Managers and be responsible for all our social media platforms. Develop sales opportunities by providing product and technical information of our new and existing products through phone, email, and social media Keeps management advised by submitting results reports, weekly updates and monthly and quarterly analyses Develop, implement, and optimize social media posts and promoted social campaigns on numerous platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Research and cultivate content relevant to the insurance industry Proactively monitor and make recommendations for responding to user generated content, including during non-business hours (Facebook) Find new sources for customer acquisition efforts and track continuous ROI /CAC analysis. Skills and experience that will lead to success Requirements Post-secondary education is an asset Strong customer service orientation Proficient digital literacy in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Committed team player Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Work as a key team member Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Competent keyboarding, computer and report skills Ability to solve problems and think critically Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure to meet deadlines Insurance experience is an asset Skills Adobe Creative Suite is a requirement: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Microsoft Office (focus on Microsoft PowerPoint) Salesforce Marketing Cloud Google Analytics Hootsuite Applications Adobe Illustrator 2021 Adobe CS5 InDesign Adobe CS5 Photoshop Adobe Acrobat 2017 Knowledge of HitFilm Express an asset
