Sales Development Representative

 

Description:

Cision, through its Brandwatch division, is seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help fuel the growth of its cutting-edge SaaS solutions. This role focuses on building a strong pipeline of enterprise leads, driving engagement through outbound outreach, and converting prospects into qualified sales opportunities. You will play a vital role in shaping the conversation around our AI-powered social intelligence products while collaborating closely with the Account Executive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and build a strong outbound sales pipeline using tools like Salesloft, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.

  • Become an expert on Brandwatch’s products, features, and market value.

  • Identify key decision-makers in target accounts and initiate high-level discovery calls.

  • Make an average of 70 outbound calls per day and engage via email and social channels.

  • Guide potential customers through the early stages of the sales cycle.

  • Work with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead conversion.

  • Build customized outbound campaigns and email sequences.

  • Exceed quarterly quotas, KPIs, and prospecting benchmarks.

  • Stay up to date on market trends and the social media technology landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional setting, with a focus on enterprise SaaS sales.

  • Proven ability to turn objections into opportunities with a consultative mindset.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with sales tools (Salesloft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, 6Sense).

  • Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales quotas.

  • Ability to write compelling, personalized outreach emails.

  • Team-oriented with a growth mindset and adaptability.

Preferred Skills:

  • Additional language skills are a plus.

  • Background in B2B or enterprise technology sales.
