Description:
The Sales and Service Assistant is primarily responsible for proving support to business acquisition and retention activities. In this role, you’ll use your strong communication and problem-solving skills to respond to client and advisor inquiries via phone and e-mail and ensure first call resolution through providing alternative solutions and triaging requests where appropriate.
In addition, the Sales and Service Assistant will work closely with Account Executives and Service Specialists to review and interpret plan and policy documents, prepare reports and support with finalist presentations and plan revisions as needed. Please note this is a contract opportunity until December 2023.
What will you do?
Receive and respond to complex and/or escalated client inquiries while using sound business judgment and defined practices and procedures to resolve requests
Elevate client’s issues, concerns, and opinions to the forefront in all interactions with Sun Life operational areas
Collaborate with Account Executives and Service Specialists to compose and prepare various correspondence and reports, finalist presentations and plan revisions including financial reports, exhibits and current plan statistics
Utilize strong attention to detail when updating and maintaining internal reporting and tracking tools, and ensuring that electronic filing is up to date with relevant documents and correspondence
Act as a back up representative for Account Executives and Service Specialist through responding to inquiries and acting as a point of contact for service delivery, as required
