2Web is on the lookout for a skilled Business Development Manager whose focus will be on driving growth by helping other businesses enhance their online presence. In this role, you’ll be pivotal in identifying potential clients who can benefit from our website development and digital solutions, crafting tailored proposals, and ultimately closing deals that contribute to both our clients’ and our agency’s success.
Salary: Commensurate with Education and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Targeted Lead Generation: Identify and pursue leads specifically in industries that can benefit most from our web development services, such as eCommerce, B2B services, and tech startups.
2. Consultative Sales Approach: Engage potential clients through a consultative approach, understanding their business needs and how our web development solutions can aid in their growth.
3. Customized Proposals and Presentations: Develop customized proposals and presentations that clearly outline how our web development services can meet the specific needs and growth objectives of each potential client.
4. Sales Closure and Client Onboarding: Skillfully negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring a smooth transition of new clients to our project management team.
5. Market Research and Trends Analysis: Continuously research market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to refine sales tactics and identify new business opportunities.
6. Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with our web development and design teams to understand our capabilities fully and ensure the feasibility of proposed solutions.
7. Networking and Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships within the business community through networking, attending industry events, and leveraging social media platforms.
8. Performance Tracking: Regularly track and report on sales activities and pipeline status to the management team, utilizing CRM tools for effective data management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of sales experience in a web development or digital agency environment is an asset.
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, digital marketing, and the latest trends in website development.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into layman’s terms during sales discussions.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and networking events.
