Position summary:
Maintains data and reporting to support sales function
Creates and runs reports utilizing advanced Excel skills to perform complex analytics that drive insights and actionable items. Resolves outstanding issues with little or no guidance.
To provide key analytical support to the Director, Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Manager to ensure delivery against their key business metrics.
Provide BDMs quality information and help with recommendations for all Pillars of the business
Analyze data resulting insights to support category growth for accounts within the customer portfolio
Identify baseline/display opportunities, conducting post-analysis of activities and sharing best practices across the team
Responsibility for National Clearout and Liquidation Process and Customers.
Retail Execution:
Manage the execution and communication between BDMs and the Retail Team to ensure accurate and timely communication of period planners
Communicate and provide the Retail Team with display and flyer information 6-8 weeks prior to help Field Reps execute and prioritize plans for Walmart
Lead execution behind all innovation launches (sell sheet, distribution results, POG implementation etc.,)
Develop strong relationships with banner champions & regional District Sales Manager to gather feedback on execution gaps and action as needed
Work with customer team to confirm timing of key retail communication and cascade to retail team to maximize sales opportunities against key activity
Review pricing across all Conagra & competitive brands to identify key gaps within the banners and regional market
Utilizes syndicated data and appropriate tools to identify trends in market share and distribution to drive the business.
Identify gaps between consumption, supply, & sales to ensure Field Reps optimize inventory
Spend 1-4 days per month in the field with territory managers, business development managers, customer, etc., to help facilitate execution against key priorities
Leads the analytical efforts for the team, providing development and training for the sales analysts to strengthen their skill sets.
Seen as field expert with corporate team. May assist corporate team/departments with higher level data gathering or problem solving
