Your Areas Of Responsibility
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to generate, qualify, and close leads to delivery on growth targets.
- Plan customer calls and visits to provide the appropriate level of service to existing and new customers.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across Key Accounts, Smart Services, Credit, Finance, Customer Service and Operations to successfully growth share of wallet and roll out new business.
- Develop strong networks and expertise within the metalworking/industrial automotive industry to gain knowledge and leads.
- Increase the value for existing FUCHS customers through up-selling and cross-selling.
- Use Salesforce to ensure sales activity is managed and up to date (funnel management).
- Travel (~ 50%) will be required throughout Southwestern Ontario to manage and grow this sales territory.
Qualifications We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in chemistry or business administration preferred.
- At least 5 years of sales experience in industrial consumable products. Experience in the Lubricants, Chemicals, or Metal Processing industries preferred. The territory is heavily focused on industrial automotive (metalworking fluids).
- Previous experience in creating and executing client account plans with a focus on solution-selling.
- Demonstrated success in rolling out new business and delivering on growth targets.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- A focus on continuous improvement and initiative to maximize value to customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems is an asset (i.e., Salesforce).
