Retail Manager

 

Description:

Woodcutter’s Brewing Company is looking for a motivated and passionate individual who loves craft beer to split time between Retail Sales / Management and Brewing / Malting Duties with our Master Brewer.

Reports To

  • Brewmaster

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years of age

  • Previous brewing experience and or certification preferred.

  • Must be extremely enthusiastic about craft beer

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Exemplary customer service skills

  • Willing to work weekends, weekdays, evenings, and some holidays

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Must really like beer!!!!

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl

  • Ability to repeatedly lift 55 LBs

  • Ability to work near moving mechanical parts

  • Ability to work in extreme cold and hot environments

  • Ability to work with hazardous chemicals

  • Ability to work safely in a noisy, wet, hazardous environment

  • Must follow all SOPs

Job Responsibilities

  • Pouring beer at the Growler / Crowler Station evenings / weekends and the odd festival / tasting event.

  • Educate customers about Woodcutter’s Brewing and Beers

  • Merchandise Brewery wear(s).

  • Clean draft lines

  • Keep detailed logs of all work completed

  • Craft / Design specialty malts

  • CIP of tanks

  • Cellaring

  • Brewing

  • Recipe development

  • Performing and Recording basic Beer Science

  • Tasting beer for QA/QC purposes

  • Take accurate inventories

  • Equipment Maintenance as required

  • Clean Brewery floors, tanks, counters, taps, equipment and bathroom
