Retail Associate

We are looking for a retail associate to join us in spreading some serenity. You will work in our retail store on Granville Street on a part-time basis.

Your Duties:

• Show thorough understanding of brand
• Demonstrate product knowledge
• Able to make styling recommendations to customers
• Ensure store is clean and visually appealing
• Maintaining housekeeping procedures & keeping product stocked
• Perform POS (Point of Sale) transactions
• Fold and wrap products with care and efficiency
• Resolve any customer issues with a positive attitude
• Assist with tagging and pricing merchandise as needed
• Assist with displays as needed
• Comply with cash handling guidelines
• Comply with store security and loss prevention procedures
• Comply with opening and closing procedures

About You:

• 2+ years experience in retail or fashion industry
• Excellent customer service
• Passionate about sustainability
• Personable and outgoing
• Creative, imaginative
• Not afraid to ask questions and take initiative
• Have basic computer/technology skills
• Able to stand for long periods
• Must be available weekends and holidays
• Know a bit about fabrics & sewing
