Remote Physician

Description:

GeriCall is seeking remote-based physicians to support elderly care in the Netherlands. As a Centrale Telefonie (CT) Arts, you will be the first point of contact for nursing homes and elderly care facilities, providing telephone-based medical advice and determining when a physical examination is necessary. If needed, you will escalate cases to on-site visiting physicians in the Netherlands.

This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from abroad, making a significant impact on night-time healthcare in the Netherlands while working during your local daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Assess medical inquiries from nursing home staff and provide appropriate remote care solutions.
✅ Refer cases requiring physical evaluation to an on-site visiting physician.
✅ Collaborate with senior geriatric specialists, hospitals, and emergency medical services.
✅ Document all consultations in the electronic client dossier and GeriForce system with clear, concise reporting.
✅ Contribute to the continuity of elderly care, ensuring safe, efficient remote medical decision-making.

Who We’re Looking For:

✔️ BIG-Registered Physician (GP, ANIOS, AIOS, Geriatric Specialist, or equivalent).
✔️ Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, ideally in elderly care, emergency medicine, or general practice.
✔️ Residing in a country with a 7+ hour time difference from the Netherlands (e.g., Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Japan, South Korea).
✔️ Independent, decisive, and strong communicator.
✔️ Passion for elderly care and ability to provide safe medical support remotely.
✔️ Digitally proficient with excellent documentation skills.
