Refurbishment and Repair Output
The Service Manager is responsible for working with our Finance and Planning teams to come to a consensus on Refurbishment Forecast for the year. They are then responsible for calling out risks and opportunities to the forecast, along with a regular cadence of reporting and KPI’s tracking performance.
Refurbishment is measured against output, turnaround time, scrap rates and quality.
Repair performance is to be measured against in place SLA’s and will require collaboration with, but not limited to, the DSC, Customer Care and Commercial Teams.
People Management, Workshop and Supply Chain Leadership
The Service Manager is expected to be an equal partner in the Workshop Leadership Team and a contributing member of the Canada Supply Chain Leadership Team. This means exhibiting the Dyson behaviors (Different, Authentic, Pioneering), leading by example and managing the Refurbishment/Repair team.
Performance Management, Coaching and Development are expected, including reviews and regular cadence of 1:1’s as appropriate.
Building Management, Health & Safety
The Return and Repair function has a number of maintenance requirements, inclusive of but not limited to machine and security maintenance, cleaning schedules and waste/recycling management.
The Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the building and teams adhere to local and Dyson Health & Safety protocols, calling out potential risks and coordinating with our HSE & Estates teams
