Description:

Reporting to the Sr. Facilities Manager, the primary responsibilities of the Receptionist role will include delivering exceptional customer service to our employees and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception desk, welcoming employees and guests in a friendly and engaging manner, answer calls and screen them accordingly, address visitor inquiries, and provide a welcoming environment. The receptionist will play a significant role in health and safety, security processes and administrative duties.

  • Answer and direct calls in a professional manner
  • Display and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintain reception area in an organized manner at all times
  • Follow security procedures regarding signing in visitors, temporary cards for authorized employees and guests
  • Provide assistance with meeting room bookings in a timely manner
  • Open facilities tickets as required
  • Perform tasks and responsibilities as the secretary of the JHSC
  • JHSC responsibilities will include taking notes in each meeting, updating and maintaining the JHSC page, scheduling monthly meetings, updating business continuity and emergency response plans
  • Complete expense reports accurately and submitted on time
  • Set up new vendors in SAP
  • Create purchase requisitions for purchase order creation in a timely manner to meet business requirements
  • Accurately complete process for receiving invoices
  • Perform other admin duties as required including printing, creating reports, and any new implementations


What are your skills and experience?

  • Minimum 2 years experience as an office receptionist
  • Professional attitude
  • Customer service skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Punctual
