This is a full time contractual position for approximately 13 months. Here's how a Receptionist for our Calgary office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Answers and directs incoming calls in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Responsible for managing reception voicemail and distributing messages.
  • Greets all visitors, answers questions, and directs to meeting rooms, or connects them with staff members.
  • Manages, monitors, and takes responsibility for general maintenance of reception area.
  • Sorts and distributes incoming mail.
  • Prepares outbound packages and receives/distributes incoming couriers.
  • Electronic filing of documents.
  • Provides assistance with administrative tasks as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years of reception experience.
  • Professional communication in person and over the phone.
  • Professional and service-oriented approach internally and externally.
  • Ability to manage time and multitask.
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential and privileged information.
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult calls and situations.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt to various work styles in a busy office environment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
