Description:
One of Toronto’s top caterers is looking for a Receptionist/Office Assistant to work on a full-time permanent basis from 9-5.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting visitors
- Answer incoming calls and assist callers in a friendly and professional manner
- Minor administrative tasks such as setting appointments, managing room bookings, assist in staff booking for events, filing, faxing, printing, answering and sending emails,and assisting other employees
- Check voicemails upon arrival and regularly
- Final check and packing all outgoing orders to be picked up by courier
- Place office supply orders and maintain office inventory
- Create and print all event signage
- File all caterers’ endorsements
Required Skills:
- Must possess excellent verbal and written and communication skills
- Must be highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Must have a professional attitude, appearance, and demeanor
- Must have experience with computer operation and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- An interest in food or previous experience in food service is a major asset
