Description:

One of Toronto’s top caterers is looking for a Receptionist/Office Assistant to work on a full-time permanent basis from 9-5.


Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and assisting visitors
  • Answer incoming calls and assist callers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Minor administrative tasks such as setting appointments, managing room bookings, assist in staff booking for events, filing, faxing, printing, answering and sending emails,and assisting other employees
  • Check voicemails upon arrival and regularly
  • Final check and packing all outgoing orders to be picked up by courier
  • Place office supply orders and maintain office inventory
  • Create and print all event signage
  • File all caterers’ endorsements


Required Skills:

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written and communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, and detail-oriented
  • Must have a professional attitude, appearance, and demeanor
  • Must have experience with computer operation and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • An interest in food or previous experience in food service is a major asset
