As a Quality Engineer (QE) – Mainframe Technology, you will be responsible for testing, defect management, and automation using REXX, Python, and SQL queries. This role requires experience with testing life cycles, SDLC, and QE processes.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Execute test cases (manual & automated) and document test results.
✅ Create test plans and test cases based on complex requirements and business user stories.
✅ Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like REXX and Python.
✅ Ensure timely delivery of releases while driving QE improvements and transformation initiatives.
✅ Use JIRA, Confluence, and qTest for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
✅ Manage and collaborate with remote team members for seamless project execution.
✅ Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings to resolve issues effectively.
✅ Conduct system integration testing and validate business acceptance of new technologies.
✅ Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners throughout the project lifecycle.
✅ Stay updated with the latest technology trends and QE best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔️ Expertise in Mainframe Technology with QE experience.
✔️ Strong understanding of QE processes, testing life cycles, SDLC, and defect management.
✔️ Advanced SQL knowledge to write complex queries.
✔️ Hands-on experience with test automation tools (REXX, Python, etc.).
✔️ Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and qTest for test management.
✔️ Ability to collaborate in a remote team setup and work effectively across geographies.
✔️ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
