Property Accounting Manager

Description:

You are a financial accounting expert with management experience. You have strong performance management and coaching experience, and the ability to be adaptable. You will be responsible for overseeing the month, quarterly and year end closes for a sizeable portfolio, and will have a team of professionals reporting to you. You will also take on exciting projects and initiatives to continuously improve processes and procedures.

We have an upcoming Accounting Manager role overseeing a retail portfolio in the West GTA and would like to hear from you!

What you bring

• 7 years of experience in Financial Accounting in roles increasing in responsibility

• 3 years minimum experience managing a team of Accounting professionals of 3 or more

• Strong leadership and coaching abilities

Bonus skills and experience

• Experience with retail properties, specifically enclosed malls

• CPA Designation and Bachelors Degree in Finance or relevant field

• Knowledge of Generally Applied Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred

• Experience at a Public company is an asset
