Description:
- Complete Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (in accordance with CSA Standards as well as Ontario Regulation 153/04)
- Complete Excess Soil assignments (in accordance with Ontario Regulation 406/19)
- Coordination and communication with subcontractors including drillers, excavators, utility locators and laboratories
- Compilation, tabulation and evaluation of analytical data
- Preparation of technical reports in consultation with senior environmental professional or Qualified Person
- Provide technical support regarding environmental issues on multi-disciplinary projects
- Attend project or client meetings, as required
- Participate in proposal preparation including development of proposal text, cost estimates and compilation of supporting information
- Perform business development activities, manage projects and clients, as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What your experience looks like
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, Hydrogeology or similar
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-graduation work experience
- Currently registered for or have future eligibility for a P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation an asset
- Technical understanding of Ontario regulations and industry standard practices related to environmental site assessment, including an understanding of O. Reg. 153/04 (Records of Site Condition), O. Reg. 406/19 (On-Site and Excess Soil Management) and CSA Standards for Phase I and II ESAs
- Proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., MS Office)
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and own vehicle are required
