The role of the Project Finance Manager is pivotal to our growth strategy. We seek a dynamic individual who can establish and spearhead our project finance and bankability assessment services. This role will involve crafting a robust reporting framework that thoroughly assesses the economic, technical, regulatory, and contractual viability of various energy infrastructure projects. Through this role, you will have the responsibility of producing bankability reports that demonstrate project merits and serve to captivate the interest of banks, financial institutions, and investors. In this role you will be the primary liaison with clients, organizing discussions that gauge needs, advising on strategic paths, and highlighting project value propositions. Furthermore, you will play a matchmaker by introducing clients to the right financial service contacts and assisting in the bankability report presentations.


Your engagement will span beyond report creation. As the primary interface with clients, you will orchestrate and lead discussions to identify their specific needs, advise on potential strategic pathways, and underline the unique value propositions of their projects. An essential facet of your role will be to connect clients with appropriate financial service contacts and provide steadfast support during bankability report presentations.


Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and deepening relationships with both new and existing clients, investment firms, and financial service providers. While a degree of autonomy is expected, collaboration with our leadership team to understand and advocate for our services and innovations is integral to the role. Working synergistically across various functional units to ensure a holistic and independent review of energy infrastructure projects.
Leveraging a plethora of data sources to craft compelling technical content, predictive market analytics, financial simulations, and scenario evaluations—all aimed at underscoring project viability.
Crafting a comprehensive project risk landscape, identifying potential pitfalls and formulating strategic mitigation measures across real estate, permitting, supply chain dynamics, interconnections, finance, and execution phases.
Extending advisory expertise, encompassing areas like financing modalities, energy market trends, regulatory nuances, contractual considerations, and risk mitigation—all geared towards optimizing a project's financing potential.
Spearheading the creation and editing of bankability study reports and related communication materials to ensure utmost clarity, precision, and impact.
Acting as a bridge, fostering robust relationships between investors and project capital stakeholders, thereby championing the project's merits, and simplifying the financing journey.
Nurturing ties with key financial sector representatives and other stakeholders crucial for the successful realization of bankability reports.
Championing business outreach initiatives, effectively showcasing the full spectrum of EPE's solutions and services to prospective clients.
Participating in shaping and deploying business strategies within the consultancy domain, ensuring alignment with market realities and organizational objectives.
Driving the refining and evolving financial models to ensure they remain current, accurate, and reflective of market conditions.
Maintaining a proactive stance, keeping abreast of regulatory amendments and emerging energy market trends. This vigilance ensures our advisory services remain top-tier and relevant.
Refining proposal structures, bankability materials, and client-centric presentations, ensuring they are attuned to client needs and industry standards.
Overseeing and enrich a comprehensive document library that serves as a reservoir of supporting content across technical, financial, regulatory, and policy domains.
Cultivating a culture where knowledge sharing is celebrated, ensuring the continuous nurturing of relevant capabilities, and fostering a collaborative spirit.
Being the face of EPE during in-person meetings, and actively participate in industry events, conferences, and committees—all aimed at forging key relationships that drive our mission forward.
Adhering to stipulated project timelines and budgetary considerations, while effectively managing the range of responsibilities and tasks.
Qualifications:
