Project Delivery Lead

 

Description:

The Project Delivery Lead reports into the Canada Strategic Delivery team and will work with and support Front office and Operations teams in the execution of defined strategic initiatives and programs of work. The role will operate primarily at a local level but will periodically require coordination with global teams both internal and external.
We are looking for individuals with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, and who can work closely with the business teams to effectively deliver change. The role requires a candidate with proven ability to deliver across multiple streams of work and a history of continuous improvement and maturity leadership for delivery initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the programs assigned and using this knowledge, working with stakeholders and project team members to deliver on stated program goals.

 


Key Accountabilities

  • Execute Schedule and Integration Management, consisting of activity definition and sequencing, resource estimating, duration estimating, schedule development, schedule control activities, project plan development, project plan execution, and integrated change control activities.
  • Manage programs and underlying projects and work streams in accordance with program scope, schedule, and budgets.
  • Oversee the planning and monitor progress to make sure that milestones are being met across the relative work streams.
  • Manage project deliverables across teams in multiple locations (globally) when necessary to support Issuer Services strategic initiatives.
  • Manage the risks and issues that might arise over the course of program and across workstreams and assist in development of mitigating measures and action plans.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels.
  • Assist coordinate and executing UAT plans
  • Assist in coordinating BAU transition plan and execution to owners as objectives are met.
  • Assist with front office Relationship Management role coverage as required
  • This role will also support Client Services teams by taking on Relationship Management functions, when required, due to staff attrition.

 

 

 

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for somebody with great communication skills, alongside the ability to build collaborative and effective working relationships with people based in locations across the world. The role requires a candidate with proven client servicing skills who possesses a positive and collaborative approach to problem solving and solution engineering.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working in, or closely with executive level stakeholders and business and operations teams and has experience simplifying complex programs and processes into digestible stories for various stakeholder groups.

The candidate should be versed in generating and delivering executive level presentations to report on status and progress.

The role will require the ability to define increments of work into 2 – 4 week sprints with a 90 day planned delivery timeline.

Desirable

  • Formal Project Management qualification
  • Experience coaching and mentoring
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously to tight deadlines
  • Broad understanding of applications utilized within Computershare
