Description:
As a Project Coordinator in the Canada National Tax Office, you will report to the Tax Associates, Managers and Partners and will be responsible for a variety of project coordination, tax-technical and thought leadership engagements (both corporate and personal).
- Manage Canada National Tax Office projects by effectively communicating timelines, driving initiatives forward and liaising with relevant RSM functions/groups
- Review and proofread Canada National Tax Office deliverables and ensure compliance with brand guidelines
- Monitor new federal and provincial legislative proposals as they make their way into law
- Assist with research on latest tax developments and writing of articles for colleagues and clients
- Assist with developing market-focused webcasts and tax materials
- Present tax materials to internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate important legislative developments to tax practitioners, external clients, including for our regular Tax Alerts publication
- Work collaboratively with RSM tax teams to develop tax tools to provide effective client services

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or other professional certificate (required)
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and take ownership of assigned tasks
- A positive attitude and desire to excel and grow professionally
- Strong research and writing skills, experience working research tax research software an asset
EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years of work experience in a related field (required)
