Description:
Obtain geotechnical reports, environmental reports, and architectural control info;
Planning Stage
- Coordinate with consultants – architects, land surveyors, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and building envelope engineers;
- Assist on-site development planning with Architects, engineers, utility companies, and the City of Calgary;
- Keep a record of meeting minutes and follow through on decisions;
- Help providing input on product designs for new projects;
- Review and align info on DP & DSSP drawings to avoid discrepancy;
- Provide input and administrative support in biweekly Management Meetings.
Pre-construction Stage
- Bridge the gap between planning and operations by providing all planning info to estimating and construction operation teams for project commencement;
- Coordinate with external architects, surveyors, engineers, lawyers, the City of Calgary, and building management teams;
- Prepare bidding lists and bidding documents;
- Clarify queries from suppliers/ trade contractors and coordinate with all consultants for the issue of addenda on changes during bidding;
- Analyze and approve quotations, negotiate contract sums and terms, coordinate and finalize trade selection;
- Prepare option list and pricing;
- Prepare detailed project budget setup;
- Review marketing materials on layouts and specifications;
- Review BP drawings, IFC drawings, and scope-specific shop drawings.
