Responsibilities

  • Work with various teams within the organization, assisting in the development of business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Recommend and implement system improvements for both established and newly formed operations.
  • Work with the operations team to coordinate projects, budget control, and reporting.
  • Manage and oversea finance and government filings.
  • Oversee the training and development of all volunteers, project administrators, and the finance team.
  • Manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance within the organization.
  • Develop ADSBC program assessments and critical performance indicators, maintain data, and report to grants and funders.
  • Liaise with Human Resources on employee matters relating to workplace conduct, attendance management, and other issues surrounding employee welfare and engagement.
  • Manage practicum and student job placements and project or contract workers as required.
  • Participate in strategic planning days, staff meetings, and other internal and external meetings and events.
  • Coordinate, build relationships with, and pay external vendors.
  • Administrative duties, including photocopying, filing, preparing, organizing, and maintaining accounting/contract records
  • Perform other related duties as required.
