Your day will look like this:
- As part of the System Integration division; you can work on corporate, theatre, sport venue, government and other installation types.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams to establish appropriate programming.
- Understand and comprehend the scope of programming work provided by the consultant and/or system designer.
- Ensure that systems meet client specifications.
- Program the system accordingly (incorporating both remote and in person support).
- Perform meticulous work, maintain copies of programs, files, and all relevant information up to date.
- Address client inquiries regarding the operation of their system.
- Train clients on programmed systems.
- Respond to service calls to support them if requested.
- Act as a technical resource and expert during system startup and commissioning.
- Stay informed about products and tools relevant to their expertise.
- Attend training as required by project needs.
- Work closely with project teams.
- Represent Solotech to clients and suppliers.
- Ensure that work is carried out according to current health and safety standards.
Your profile:
- College degree in computer science, automated production, electrical engineering, or other relevant training/work experience.
- 3 years of audio programming experience minimum.
- Experience with systems such as QSC, Bose, Biamp, Audinate, Crestro; AMX / Node-Red is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment wiring diagrams.
- Possess a valid driver's license in Ontario.
- Willingness to occassionally travel for work within Canada when requested.
- Available occasionally during evenings and weekends.
- Advanced and up-to-date proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent sense of priorities and deadline management.
- Highly developed organizational skills.
- Strong team spirit and collaboration.
- Audio experienced prioritized over Crestron for this position.
- Advanced IT knowledge (an asset).
