Your day will look like this:
 

  • As part of the System Integration division; you can work on corporate, theatre, sport venue, government and other installation types.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams to establish appropriate programming.
  • Understand and comprehend the scope of programming work provided by the consultant and/or system designer.
  • Ensure that systems meet client specifications.
  • Program the system accordingly (incorporating both remote and in person support).
  • Perform meticulous work, maintain copies of programs, files, and all relevant information up to date.
  • Address client inquiries regarding the operation of their system.
  • Train clients on programmed systems.
  • Respond to service calls to support them if requested.
  • Act as a technical resource and expert during system startup and commissioning.
  • Stay informed about products and tools relevant to their expertise.
  • Attend training as required by project needs.
  • Work closely with project teams.
  • Represent Solotech to clients and suppliers.
  • Ensure that work is carried out according to current health and safety standards.
     

Your profile:
 

  • College degree in computer science, automated production, electrical engineering, or other relevant training/work experience.
  • 3 years of audio programming experience minimum.
  • Experience with systems such as QSC, Bose, Biamp, Audinate, Crestro; AMX / Node-Red is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment wiring diagrams.
  • Possess a valid driver's license in Ontario.
  • Willingness to occassionally travel for work within Canada when requested.
  • Available occasionally during evenings and weekends.
  • Advanced and up-to-date proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent sense of priorities and deadline management.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
  • Strong team spirit and collaboration.
  • Audio experienced prioritized over Crestron for this position.
  • Advanced IT knowledge (an asset).
  • Autonomy, rigor, and discipline.
  • Customer service-oriented.
