Procurement Planner

 

Description:

Sandoz is seeking a Procurement Planner to oversee the supply chain and purchasing process, ensuring product availability and operational efficiency. This role involves coordinating purchases, monitoring inventory levels, and working closely with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure product availability by planning purchases of finished products and bulk items from suppliers.

  • Monitor inventory and supply chain risks, analyzing reports on potential stock shortages and expiration dates.

  • Report supply issues in weekly "Customer Protect" meetings.

  • Respond to business inquiries (BIR) regarding supply chain opportunities and impacts.

  • Support the Life Cycle Management team in operational changes, including manufacturing site transitions and supplier modifications.

  • Assist in business review meetings (Sales & Operations) with suppliers to ensure market alignment and prioritization for Canada.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement planning or purchasing.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Fluent in French (oral and written) – mandatory.

  • Working knowledge of English (for communication with clients, partners, and global colleagues).

  • Strong results orientation and time management skills.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent teamwork and autonomy.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets):

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience working in a multinational company (global coordination).

  • SAP experience (Rapid Response and APO).

  • APICS certification.
