Process Business Consultant

How you’ll succeed

  • Process Improvement - Identify and analyze existing business processes and associated risks and controls, including identification of significant control weaknesses. Update, create and implement business policies as required, including introduction of new policy requirements identified during projects and ad-hoc reviews. Implement creative, innovative and well controlled processes into the operational environment. Work with management to develop action plans ensuring recommendations provide realistic and workable solutions.

  • Risk Analysis - Conduct risk identification and analysis including mitigation strategies, and project validation, and present to relevant stakeholders as appropriate. Obtain business management's commitment to corrective action, and ensure that action plans and time frames are clearly articulated.

  • Compliance - Ensure that project teams adequately prepare business requirements and/or process flowcharts. Analyze and identify control and compliance opportunities and/or deficiencies. Negotiate appropriate balance between internal control and business needs with varied levels of management.

  • Leveraging technology - Become a technology expert. Share your knowledge and experience with the following systems (an asset):

    • Compass

    • TS2

    • ECIF
