Description:
Infosys is seeking a Product Owner. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification :
- The Product Owner will participate in defining roadmap, consolidating product ideas, identify potential partners in both product and technology landscape. Create mid to long term vision for the top of funnel experience Collaborate to create a review product roadmap, product overview, objective, manage distribution, and incorporate all change requests to the created roadmap. Understand business scope and ROI of every feature in roadmap. Own Strategic roadmap development, short-term roadmap for Minimum Viable Product and quarterly releases. Collaborate with marketing dept to develop product collaterals. Identification of KPIs, engagement and operational metrics for each slice of scope. Create scoping documents, project plans and key success metrics. Analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, both internal and external to aid in prioritization.
- The Product Owner Will Ideate and actively participate/lead in design sprints, workshops, follow up-sessions and customer research. Create visual aids and strategy document for the structured process of ideation. Identify opportunities and Consolidate product ideas, requirements. Create strategy document leveraging inputs from all stakeholders.
- The Product owner will Proactively communicate ongoing problems, manage customer relationships and expectations. Report on product and service problems. Demonstrate fluency in business processes and process differentiation. Proactively identify and remove project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team. Understand and negotiate needs and expectations and balance value propositions for multiple competing stakeholders. Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
- Generate new leads through network/participation in any internal or external forums to penetrate to Global Markets Analyze competitive landscape and provide recommendations, industry trends and emerging opportunities.
- The Product Owner will understand the As -Is processes/ conduct Current System Study and then identify high level process/system changes. S/he will act as a lead in small engagements and seek help from Seniors in the practice if assistance is required in meeting complex requirements IN ORDER TO arrive at process documents, process gaps, fit-gap analysis, requirement/assessment documents that are agreeable to the customer. Collaborate planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications. Collaborate with Support team for production issues, with global teams. Collaborate closely with Developers and QA to implement the requirements. Manage both internal and external partnerships from concept-to-delivery to ensure that roadmap priorities meet our guest and business expectations and needs. Monitor and identify stakeholder needs staying current on industry standards and trends. Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and manage conflicts.
- The Product owner will translate product roadmap’s high-level strategy into an actionable plan built on specific features, enhancements, and fixes to build into different releases. Collaborate with the stakeholders to discuss their understanding and review the release scope/plan. Perform Post Release validation including Hotfixes. Create release plans, support product deliverables and post release activities. Optionally provide suggestions or review resource plans in cases where the requirements mandate to ensure any unusual resource requirements are noted early and planned for.

- The Product owner will provide the functional requirements and externally visible technical attributes (API's, user modifiable Configuration files, etc.) and clarify any engineering queries to ensure release requirements are understood in a consistent fashion by implementers. Own and manage the backlog. Conduct Business stakeholder interviews, Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements. Create end-to-end user stories for specific product features with all relevant information.
