Description:
Reporting to the Manager MECoE Potash, the Principal Asset Management will have these key accountabilities:
- Implement and manage Asset Performance Management (APM) software.
- Governance and functional guidance to the company in the processes of APM Asset Strategy Development and its utilization.
- Deliver the APM capability development program in the MECoE and the business for the core pillars of strategy development, defect elimination, asset health policies and asset reliability analysis.
- Provide training to MECoE and business leaders in the proper utilization of APM modules.
- Monitor and evaluate the efficiency of APM work processes.
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives to ensure APM remains 'fit for purpose'.
- Stay abreast and communicate properly changes and improvements to the APM Product and provide recommendations for updates and inclusion of improvements.
- Manage communications with the APM product managers.
- Determine the underlying cause of problems and evaluate multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex organizational or asset problems.
- Source information, plans and conducts analyses to support evidence-based decision making.
- Identify safety improvements and conducting field leadership activities.
- Communicate effectively with technical and operational stakeholders to drive improvement project outcomes.
- Promote a defect elimination culture by example and optimizing maintenance by eliminating defects & waste.
- Identify and providing guidance to close technical capability gaps, to drive improved asset performance.
About You
As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Tertiary or trade qualifications with proven practical and/or consulting experience in the Asset Performance Management software and a deep knowledge of asset management, including Root Cause Analysis, Route Cause Management, Failure Mods, Effect Analysis, Asset Strategy Management and Asset Strategy Implementation.
- Proven experience in APM system implementation, Management of Change processes, strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence, building relationships with different departments, disciplines and at all levels.
- Previous exposure to Equipment Maintenance in mining, oil and gas and/or potash industries is advantageous
