Description:

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop and maintain automation scripts workflows and tools to automate Citrix and Hyperconverged infrastructure administration tasks, including system provisioning, system configuration, software upgrades/deployment and reporting.

· Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for Citrix and Nutanix using Ansible or Terraform to automate in accordance with industry leading practices.

· Develop and maintain automation for Windows Virtual Desktop Image Builds/updates/replication using Citrix Machine Creation service (MSC)

· Re-write and maintain legacy scripts, converting to PowerShell 7/API’s (Roughly 10)

· Proactively identify deficiencies and present opportunities to improve supportability by way of automation, leading efforts to develop and implement the solution as directed.

· Automate ServiceNow integration for CI’s

· Integrate Nutanix HCI and Citrix Access/Control plane with automated monitoring, alerting and performance dashboards (such as SCOM, DynaTrace, PowerBI, ServiceNow, Systrack), to proactively detect and address IT infrastructure issues and provide near Realtime visibility into performance/health and long-term trending.

· Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for all automation processes and tools.

· Ensure that automated processes and tools meet or exceed BMO security and compliance standards and adjust as needed.

· Provide Engineering level support and assistance to the Operations teams for automation-related issues and incidents.

Skills/Qualifications:

Mandatory (experience with)

· PowerShell and Shell scripting, software deployment/lifecycle, and creative solution development.

· Automating repetitive tasks and managing system configurations.

· Active Directory

· Windows Desktop Engineering/automation

· SCCM

· PowerShell 6/7, REST APIs and Bash/Ksh

· Hyperconverged platform automation, (such as Nutanix, VMware vSAN)
