Position Summary

The Department of Accounting and Business Analytics at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta is seeking a full-time postdoctoral fellow (PDF). The candidates for this position must have completed a Ph.D. degree in Operations Research, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, or a related area before starting the appointment. The successful candidate will contribute to theoretical and computational challenges in data-driven decision-making arising in service operations management, supply chain management, and retailing by combining tools from discrete optimization, machine learning, stochastic processes (e.g., Markov decision processes), and stochastic programming.
