Description:

Photographs, digitizes and retouches digital photos of objects in the collections for documentation
(collections management system), communication and publication on the Museum's Online Collections
platform;

Prepares the coding and distribution of scans files;

Handles small objects and archives for the various shots.
 

Employment Conditions
Part-time position, 21 hours per week; for 27 weeks beginning September 12;
Hourly rate: $24.50

Qualifications and Profile Required

College degree in professional photography technique; College degree in museology or bachelor's
degree in art history, an asset;

Two (2) years in a professional environment offering similar productions;

Mastery of Photoshop software;

Knowledge of Canon professional cameras;

Knowledge of studio equipment (electronic flash system);

Ability to handle fragile and irreplaceable objects with care;

Sense of responsibility and autonomy;

Ability to work in a team;

Rigor, sense of ethics, good judgment and honesty;

Interest in the cultural and heritage environment in general.
