Payroll Manager

 

Description:

The Payroll Manager is responsible for payroll, and the administration of employee benefits for employees in BC, AB, ON and California.

Duties
 

  • Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll in Ceridian Dayforce
  • Conduct in depth reconciliation between Dayforce (Ceridian) and BST
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in payroll and time and attendance database
  • Automation of business procedures currently done manually
     

Requirements
 

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma combined with a payroll designation
  • Minimum of five (5) years with full-cycle Canadian and US payroll administration in an hourly/salaried environment
  • Familiar with Canadian and US payroll&benefits and associated journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
  • Experience with the time&attendance module in Ceridian, and systems implementation
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant government legislative requirements
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues professionally and confidentially
  • Meticulous, accurate, and excellent attention to detail
