The Human Resources Branch of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, in Toronto, ON, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to provide integrated services for the calculation and processing of payroll, benefits, pension, pension adjustment and attendance for an assigned client group, in accordance with statutory, systems, policies and administrative requirements.

  • Act professionally at all times when clarifying information, resolving issues or providing advice


You'll support our collaboration as you:

  • Apply your expertise in payroll processes, practices, procedures, and methods to an assigned client group
  • Apply your knowledge of all facets of the pay and benefit administration, including data entry, payroll processing, maintaining benefits and pension enrolment, and attendance management
  • Assume responsibility for the calculation of severance entitlements, the preparation of ROEs, and departmental audits
  • Ensure the consistent interpretation and application of policies, guidelines, legislation and directives
