Reporting to Senior Payment Processing and Banking analyst, you will provide assurance to management team that all revenue transactions are processed in compliance with Ministerial and Departmental financial policies and procedures for the Departments of Energy, Environment & Protected Areas and Forestry, Parks & Tourism.

Ensure payments are allocated to the correct client and activity on behalf of the Departments of Energy, Environment & Protected Areas and Forestry, Parks & Tourism.

  • Analyze payments and supporting documentation received to ensure payment allocation is in accordance with Ministerial and departmental financial policies and procedures.
  • Determine appropriate allocation method, business unit and revenue type.
  • Analyze and research payments received to ensure amounts reconcile with supporting documentation provided by client.
  • Accurately allocate payments to client activities.
  • Verify allocated amounts to supporting documentation, batch and distribute documentation to business areas.
  • Liaise with business units and clients (departmental, other ministries, industry) keeping the one window service approach. Focus is to be proactive and inform clients of department requirements and policies.
