Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) is the leading health care provider on the western James Bay coast.
WAHA comprises of hospitals in Moose Factory, Fort Albany, and Attawapiskat, with a Health Centre in Moosonee.
WAHA also provides regional outpatient programs, as well as Paramedicine services in Moose Factory, Moosonee,

What You’ll Do

• Plays a key role in supporting Divisional Information Governance policies and procedures by ensuring

compliance, promoting best practices, and facilitating effective use of information within the organization

• Identify, design, implement, and evaluate process improvement initiatives across departments at the direction

of the manager

• Investigate, mitigate, and facilitate strategies of reducing patient incidences
• Works with Organizational Quality team members to ensure departmental and organizational goals are met
• Maintains knowledge of healthcare-based legislation
• Maintains confidentiality of employee, patient, and organizational information within and outside of

Organizational Quality

• Travel within and out of the service region will be required

What You Bring

• Successful completion of secondary school
• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Health Sciences, Health Administration, Business Administration or related

preferred

• G or G2 Driver’s License
• Knowledge of Process Improvement
• Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language is an asset
