Optical Retail Team Lead

Description:

LensCrafters is seeking a Team Lead to create exceptional value for customers and patients by delivering outstanding service and managing key optical and lab processes. This role is integral to ensuring customer satisfaction, store success, and maintaining the highest optical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

🛍️ Retail & Customer Service:

• Ensure the LensCrafters team delivers unsurpassed customer service.
• Provide product recommendations and assist customers in frame and lens selection.
• Serve as an alternate key holder, ensuring smooth store operations.
• Offer accurate execution of processes with in-depth product knowledge.

⚙️ Lab & Optical Operations (if applicable):

• Custom fit glasses and ensure precise placement of prescriptions in lenses.
• Train associates on lens and lab technology and key store processes.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain lab tools & systems, ensuring a safe work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

✔ High School Diploma/GED
✔ Strong Optical & Retail Experience
✔ Knowledge of Optical Theory & Merchandise
✔ Sales Skills & Customer Service Experience
✔ Problem-Solving & Leadership Abilities
✔ Basic Math Skills & Cash Register Proficiency
✔ Optical Measurement & Edging/Mounting Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

🌟 State Licensure &/or ABO Certification (where applicable)
🌟 LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification
🌟 LensCrafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program
🌟 AccuFit Digital Measurement System Certification
🌟 Experience with Optical Machinery & Instruments

Compensation & Benefits:

💰 Hourly Pay: $21.90 - $35.19 (based on location, experience & qualifications)
