Degree in a relevant field (e.g. resource management, forestry, engineering).
Experience establishing, reviewing and evaluating programs and priorities that are consistent with organizational goals and objectives, preferably in a government setting.
Experience organizing, managing and leading diverse and complex projects.
Experience managing high profile consultations and developing and maintaining partnerships with First Nations, industry and other government departments.
Experience supervising staff including developing and evaluating performance plans, providing direction, coaching and team-building.
Considerable experience developing, monitoring and controlling program budgets.
