Online Stem Educator

Description:

We are seeking an experienced, provincially certified, online educator who specializes in STEM to develop and host live-streamed, virtual educational activities.

As an online educator, you will be responsible for creating, designing and facilitating engaging, meaningful and fun live online activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) for learners at the K-7 level. These live online activities are focused on learning and exploring new skills and interests. The goal is that activities supplement learners’ education, it is not academically driven.

HLN’s online educators work collaboratively to develop topics for activities, focusing on a range of fun topics using Universal Design for Learning principles. Working with other members of the HomeLearners Network (HLN) program team, you will be part of creating the educational vision of the HLN platform.
