Description:
The online orders manager is responsible for supervising his/her team, overseeing work schedules, and organizing the department. The incumbent onboards new employees, fosters a positive working environment, coaches and develops employees’ skills, while planning and maximizing workforce productivity. He/she is also responsible for ensuring that orders shipped are accurate and compliant. He/she reports the needs and concerns of the store to his/her supervisor, shares and discusses any innovative ideas, and ensures that the store’s operations exceed customer expectations. He/she coordinates and implements all steps for online orders and ensures that the store complies with the policies and procedures in place. In addition, he/she ensures that delivery, payroll, expense, and profitability targets are met while minimizing associated costs. He/she reviews performance indicators to address problems quickly and maximize profitable sales; interprets financial reports and responds to specific findings as required; follows the time budget allocated to the department; keeps the store perfectly clean; and implements all health and safety measures. Depending on the volume of online orders, the incumbent may be called upon to perform other duties to support the store at the request of his/her immediate superior. The incumbent may also be called upon to fill in for members of the management team if necessary.
