infectious diseases, patient care practice and continues quality improvement and
demonstrates the ability to integrate this knowledge into clinical practice; along
with the ability to articulate effectively the important components of infection
prevention and control program with all levels of staff/clients.

 Knowledge of Worker’s Compensation Board Early and Safe Return to Work
Programs, knowledge of Human Rights Legislation, Occupational Health and
Safety, Collective Agreements and accommodation process.

 Demonstrates effective leadership and management/supervisory skills.
 Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams with other subject matter

experts, Mangers and staff.
 Able to effectively balance multiple departmental objectives, and provide

recommendations.
 Demonstrates expert verbal and written communication skills and maintains

confidentiality of sensitive medical information of clients and staff
 Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning
 Demonstrates commitment to the organization’s strategic direction and to the

principles of the UN convention on the Rights of Person’s with Disabilities
(UNCRPD) and Department of Community Services (DCS) Transformation

 Possess strong computer skills; proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
