This is a permanent full-time role based in Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. The primary language of work is English. Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant Engineering Discipline. Naval Architecture preferred;
  • Minimum 2 years experience supporting shipbuilding or ship design projects;
  • Desired experience in the following fields:
  • Project Management or Engineering on large, complex defence projects;
  • Experience with the application of ship stability software such as GHS or Paramarine;
  • Experience in project controls, tools, performance management, scheduling, and project delivery;
  • Experience in the application of classification society rules and the naval technical regulatory framework within a naval environment;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Knowledge of warship construction and configuration;
  • Knowledge of a shipyard production environment;
  • Experience with weight monitoring processes;
