Position Overview
The Kamloops Museum and Archives (KMA) is looking for a temporary, part-time Museum Interpreter to lead accessible public and school programs that highlights the Kamloops community and local schools. The focus of this temporary position is to support the museum in collection and management handling of artifacts. The Museum Interpreter will ensure the KMA is a welcoming and engaging space, and this is a position where your work can have a significant impact on others in the community. This temporary, part- time position will be approximately one month in length.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications

  • A Bachelors' degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
  • Minimum one year's previous experience in a museum or gallery setting with curatorial experience.
  • BC Driver's License - Class 5.
