How You’ll Succeed
Cross Functional Relationship - Develop and deliver exceptional customer service while regularly interacting with Simplii Financial mortgage clients, constant contact with Mortgage Specialist/Mortgage Broker, other internal partners (Mortgage Servicing, underwriting, etc) and contact with FNF and other solicitors.
Operational Support - Provide high quality administrative assistance and service to clients and Mortgage Specialists/Brokers. Including: Answer client inquiries related to funding of their mortgage, follow ups with clients, business partners; Connect and assist solicitor with mortgage instructions, disclosure statements and internal payout statements; Handle scenarios, questions, and issues in accordance with department objectives; Connect with internal partners to initiate refund of penalty for ported mortgages;
Mortgage Sales and Administration - Independently fulfill the funding requirements; Request title searches and order appraisals, monitor status of request(s); Organize, label and image client documents for underwriter and administrative review/sign-off to complete mortgage/SPLC files; Order signing services via FNF Portal to complete IVF and signatures for mortgage transfer clients; Order payout statements from other financial institutions for mortgage transfer clients; Open and manage FNF portal for refinances and SPLCs; Order US Credit Bureaus; Connect with client to send commitment package; Connect with client (e-mail) for signed commitment and outstanding/support documents; Proactively identify files with met conditions and are ready to be sent for funding request;
Cross-sales - Know your clients well, and identify cross-selling opportunities (e.g. chequing account for mortgage payment) and enable warm hand offs to Everyday Banking.
Attention to detail - Accurately review all required documentation, validate IDs against the required conditions.
Who You Are
You have knowledge of Mortgage products and services, loan security documentation, compliance and control requirements
You can demonstrate experience in Microsoft Office, CRM, ADOBE PRO, COINS/CLASS Mortgage products and services including related processes and procedures. Knowledge of systems (Savvy, FNF portal, eCIF, CRS, AS07) is an asset
