Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Driving LDS Access to and from locations (no students are on board during transportation)
- Supervising students for short periods of time between lessons
- Ensure a safe learning environment for Instructors and students while aboard Access
- Charging of the electric vehicle and completing vehicle log entries
- Sanitizing high touch surfaces on LDS Access after use
- Outreach for LDS while on Access (answering questions about LDS Access or our programs)
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and qualifications
- Class 5 (or above) valid BC driver’s license
- Experience driving large vehicles
- Experience driving in the Lower Mainland (BC)
- Experience working with children and diverse populations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Hold or ability to obtain a valid Criminal Record Check or Police Information Check
- Valid First Aid certificate (desired)
