Description:

  • Develops and implements approach that: create and foster a healthy and engaging environment that enables personal excellence; achieves the FNHDA’s vision of a Health Director certification program; and establishes FNHDA as a leader in cultural safety and humility in the workplace.
  • Collaborates with the FNHDA Board and Executive members, Executive Director, and FNHDA Director, to establish multi-year strategic training plan for the future progression and deployment of training & development initiatives, and instructor onboarding
  • Leads shaping the learner experience for FNHDA members and those participating in the training.
  • Leads and oversees the development and implementation, maintenance and evaluation of Learning Strategy services, infrastructure, and programs, including e-learning, Moodle, curriculum design, and other support programs.
  • Develops and implements the strategic direction for Learning and Development aligned with the organization’s objectives, including implementation, and leading of a FNHDA Training Advisory Committee to ensure the deployment of cost-effective training solutions to augment individual and organizational performance and foster a continual learning culture.
  • Oversees the building and development of competency models and facilitates implementation and acceptance throughout the Association.
  • Oversees the FNHDA orientation program, including review of current program, development/evolution of content and delivery mechanisms, and the day-to-day operations of offerings.
  • From time to time, may need to work in collaboration with external Senior Education Consultant, to oversee the development and delivery management of FNHDA curriculum and rewrites.
  • In collaboration with the FNHDA Board and Executive Director, leads administration of member engagement survey, analysis along with communication of findings, follow up actions and periodic tracking and reporting of training interests and needs. Provides results analysis and identifies improvement opportunities; and facilitates change management initiatives at the organizational, divisional, and departmental level.
