Description:
The Primary Care Response Assistant provides administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the First Nations Virtual Doctor of the Day (FNvDoD) and First Nations Virtual Substance Use and Psychiatry Service (FNvSUPs) clinics. The role is responsible for scheduling the providers by region and the Response Team, and also the consolidation and maximization of billings to ensure accuracy prior to submission to MSP. The role coordinates virtual staff with appropriate on the ground resources, which facilitates EMR integrations and workflows of program with other virtual support pathways. This position provides relief in the event of absence of a Response Team member. The role functions as a member of a collaborative and comprehensive health care team ensuring the provision of safe, ethical, and culturally appropriate care to clients and their families.
Although these are currently term positions, it is anticipated that there may be the opportunity for these positions to become permanent, pending funding approval.
