Medical Director

Description:

VCH is looking for a Medical Director, Vancouver Community (VC) Homelessness, Complex Care Housing and Rehab to provide leadership for the respective VC services and teams, and their associated medical staff. Reporting to the Senior Medical Director, Vancouver Community, the new Medical Director will collaborate alongside with their respective VC Operations Director colleagues, associated medical staff and services and VC teams. These teams currently include:

• Intensive Housing Outreach Team (IHOT)– supporting the Vancouver Community homeless population
• Complex Care Housing (CCH) sites – supporting clients based in Complex Care Housing sites in Vancouver Community
• Cambie Gardens – supporting clients living in the new supported housing site at Cambie Gardens
• Regional Acquired Brain Injuries Unit – supporting clients based in the new ABI unit (scheduled to open early summer 2023)

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference to Vancouver’s homeless and vulnerable population by directly working on complex care programs and leading multiple teams across the city.
